Spring has arrived in Connecticut..

sort of..so lots to think about this time of year. While I took a walk around in my gardens this winter, I noticed certain things I did not notice before because there wasn’t really any snow in CT.

  1. Where can I add more shrubs so it will be lower maintenance?

  2. Where can I put in perennials so that it will add more color and provide food for pollinators and songbirds?

  3. Where can I cut down on maintenance without sacrificing color, character or creativity?

  4. Where do I like to entertain and change a garden into a patio for lower maintenance and decorate with planters?

  5. What can I turn into a meadow or lawn depending on your personality?

  6. Was my Spring a wow? This is an important question for you- if you admire all the daffodils and bulbs popping up and your yard has no flowers, this is good for you to plan to add in the Fall. But right now is not too late a time, as we have lots of options to add color in even right now!
